The photographic expedition to the Eastern Carpathians, to Czarnohora, was carried out as a part of cooperation between the PWSZ in Krosno and the Lodz Film School. Now, the time has come for an exhibition of photos from the trip to which invites the Carpathian National University named after Vasil Stefanyk, room No. 25 of the main building (entrance from 57 Szevczenki Street). Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine.

During the week-long trip, all participants climbed the summit and spent two nights at an altitude of over 2000 m. which allowed them to photograph the Czarnohora ridge and the extensive ranges of the Eastern Carpathians in different light and weather conditions.

The time spent driving on the snowy Carpathian roads and waiting for hours at the border check-in was filled with discussions about light, shadow, frame, motive ...
During this trip many ideas were born, and the presence of Prof. Krzysztof Heyke meant that discussions and conversations about photography took the form of consultations and lectures.
The outcome of the expedition is a photo exhibition entitled "White Elephant".
The expedition took place in February, 2018.
