This year, a country stay has been organized with the financial support and under the auspices of the Marshal of the Lodz Voivodship.

The annual, country encounter of newly admitted students of all faculties, initiated by the Film and Television Directing Department, is taking place for the third time. We hope that it will be a permanent item in the programme of the Lodz Film School, whose ethos is the idea of integration and creative team work.

The programme of the stay in the country was prepared jointly by all Faculties and Student Government. It comprises informational and performative encounters of lecturers and students. Photographic presentations and screenings of student films awarded at festivals as well as outstanding feature and documentary films made by graduates and lecturers of the Lodz Film School will be held.

Presentations and screenings will be accompanied by meetings with artists. During the stay in the country a film chronicle will be produced which can be co-created by any of its participants.

17.30 Welcoming by lecturers and employees of the Lodz Film School: Zbigniew Wichłacz, Tomasz Komorowski, Monika Talarczyk, Marek Rudnicki, Dagna Kidoń, PhDs: Sebastian Butny, Magda Zambrzycka and representatives of the student government who will be tutors conducting integration classes, as well as with the technical tutor, Karol Włudarczyk, producer of materials for the event chronicle (making of) "The art of looking"
18.20 Integration meeting with Sebastian Buttny - PhD student at the Lodz Film School, regarding the specifics of studies and aspects of creative cooperation
19.00 Screening of student films and presentation of photographic works of students of the Lodz Film School. The presentation will be hosted by Zbigniew Wichłacz, Dean of the Cinematography and Television Production Department, and Tomasz Komorowski, lecturer at the Lodz Film School
20.00 Feature film, "Supernova" projection. After the screening, a Q&A session with Bartosz Kruhlik, the director of the film, a graduate of the Film and Television Directing Department of the Lodz Film School

After the screening, a meeting with the Rector, Prof. Mariusz Grzegorzek, the artistic supervisor of the film, its director Kalina Alabrudzińska, graduate of the Film and Television Directing Department of the Lodz Film School, Agata Golańska, the film’s producer and with the actors, with participation of Acting Department lecturers and deans, Zofia Uzelac and Piotr Seweryński
