Workshop: Innovative financing of film productions. 1-2, June, Cracow.

The event will be a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the specificity of the creative producer's work. The workshop will be led by Prof. Andrzej Krakowski from The City College of New York, director, screenwriter, producer, lecturer, writer and draftsman. He has produced over 60 films and series, including Oscar-nominated "California Reich" and the series "We are New York", which won two Emmy Awards. In addition to creative and teaching work, Krakowski is a successful businessman. He was a co-founder and creative director of two TV networks: the first double platform (over-the-air and satellite) in Poland, NaszaTV (now Scripps Networks) and the first American Internet television network (currently IA Global) in New York.

The "Pollywood on Tour" project is aimed at people interested in the role of a creative producer in the film production process.
The Krakow workshop will address the following issues:
- methods of financing and maintaining the financial flow of film projects,
- film promotion processes,
- raising private funds for development and film production,
- differences between the creative producer, the executive producer and the production manager,
- financing of international co-productions,
- effective coordination of the role of producer, director and cinematographer,
- stimulating creativity among the film crew,
- motivating the film crew for creative work.

The Film School in Łódź is a partner of the event.
