The animated films competition section will also screen a film DESZCZ by Piotr Milczarek, our graduate, currently a PhD student and a lecturer at the Animation Faculty and WY MALUCZCY by Maciej Rynkiewicz our graduate and a lecturer at the Animation Faculty.

"I am happy to see the rise in the artistic and production level of Polish short films, so the 65 films we will eventually show in the Short Debut Films Competition are real pearls. I am convinced that every viewer will find their favourites among them. Like every year, there is a great challenge ahead of the jury ... "- says Liwia Mądzik, the Program's Vice Director of the Festival.
 
The films will compete for prizes for the best feature, documentary and animated film funded by Canal +.

In addition to the Amber statuette, each awarded film-maker will receive PLN 10,000. In addition, the jury will select the best cinematographer who will receive an award funded by Heliograph and the author of the best sound who will receive an award funded by Phonograph Studio.

The authors of the short films also have a chance to win the Journalists' Award and the Special Award of Legal Culture.
