On 26 Feb., one of the most esteemed casting directors in Poland, Magdalena Szwarcbart will be the guest at Łukasz Maciejewski's class.

Magdalena Szwarcbart, who is a living legend of casting direction in Poland, will meet with the third and fourth year students of acting within the framework of the class run by Łukasz Maciejewski. In 2016, she was nominated for the "European Casting Director Award" for her work on the film "The Mighty Angel". Only during the last year was she was in charge of the cast for the largest Polish productions, among them Wojciech Smarzowski's "Clergy", Paweł Pawlikowski's "Cold War", Agnieszka Holland’s "Citizen Jones" or the latest film by Władysław Pasikowski "The Messenger".

She worked for the best and with the best - it is enough to mention the names such as Steven Spielberg (casting for the film "Schindler’s List"), Volker Schlondorff ("The Ogre"), Krzysztof Zanussi ("Persona non grata"), Władysław Pasikowski ("Jack Strong" and "Aftermath"), Jan Jakub Kolski ("Venice", "Pornography" and "Jasminum"), and Wojciech Smarzowski (She was the casting director for all his films - "The Wedding", "The Dark House", "Rose", "Traffic Police", "The Mighty Angel" and "Wołyń").

Magdalena Szwarcbart was also the casting director for the best Polish series of recent years, including "Pact" directed by Leszek Dawid and "Teacher" by Łukasz Palkowski.
