The Chapter of the editorial office of "Dziennik Łódzki" and "Express Ilustrowany" appreciated Zofia Uzelac in particular for "initiating co-operation of outstanding theatre directors with final year acting students and providing the environment for their diploma plays to achieve the highest artistic level" – can be read in the plebiscite nomination justification.

The plebiscite is run jointly by "Dziennik Łódzki" and "Express Ilustrowany". Voting is conducted in four categories: culture, social and charitable activity, self-government and local community and business. The winners will be selected separately in Łódź, Piotrków Trybunalski, Skierniewice and in each district of the Lodz region.

Voting in the first stage of the plebiscite started on Friday, January 11 and will last until Thursday, February 7, 2019 at 9 p.m. In the pages of "Dziennik Łódzki", "Express Ilustrowany" and their websites , nominees and justifications for the nominations will be presented.
