Agnieszka Bojanowska, one of the greatest Polish editors studied at the Direction Department of our school. Her professional career was mostly connected with documentary film (she edited about 350 documentaries), but her filmography also comprises 20 feature films which she edited.

In documentary film she worked with, among others, Bogdan Dziworski ("Kilka opowieści o człowieku”), and Janusz Kidawa ("Grzeszny żywot Franciszka Buły”), and in feature film with Stanisław Loth ("Dziewczyna i chłopak") and Janusz Kijowski ("Stan strachu"). She was an expert of the Polish Film Institute, a deserved member of the Polish Editors’ Association and a member of the Polish Film Academy and Polish Filmmakers’ Association. In 2007, she received the Life Achievement Award of the Polish Filmmakers’ Association.

The funeral mass will take place on Friday, 18 January at 10 a.m. at St. Boromeus Church in Warsaw (14, Powązkowska Street).
