The 12th Kustendorf Film & Music Festival in Serbia is on. They’ve seen Kieślowski and Polański’s student films and can have a glimpse of the Lodz Film School from the archive photos.

The International Kustendorf Film & Music Festival in Serbia was established in 2008 by Emir Kusturica. This year, in Mokra Gora, during the festival opening ceremony, the student films, “Office” by Krzysztof Kieślowski and "Two People with a Wardrobe" by Roman Polański, were screened. What’s more, it was the world premiere of the latter after full reconstruction of the image and sound by the Digital Film Repository.

As part of the festival, there is also a photography exhibition - "A glimpse of the Lodz Film School", which is the result of a visit of festival representatives to the Film School Archive. The exhibition is a subjective, impressionistic collage of memories - film stills, photos illustrating school life and portraits of those who co-created our school. It shows the creative atmosphere of the school in the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s and 1980s. The curators of the exhibitions are Anna Kazimierczak and Dagna Kidoń.
