Our Christmas Eve reception.

‘There are many stimuli from the outside that disrupt this festive joy. We have to be together, a lot depends on that. I think the potential of our meetings with other people is much greater than the chances we give each other. We will not be there for each other for ever. Let’s not rush, let’s stop and look each other in the eyes’, said Mariusz Grzegorzek, the Lodz Film School Rector, to all those who gathered to celebrate Christmas Eve - the professors, staff, students and our friends.

Here we wish to thank our acting students for a both energetic and moving concert of Christmas songs and carols. Preparation – Małgorzata Flegel, music accompaniment – Paweł Serafiński. The selection included “Silent Night” (sung in three languages), “They were running away, running away”, from the “Metro” musical, “Mary, Did You know?” sung a capella and a traditional Christmas song “Creaks the cart, great frost”, whose lyrics finish with the meaningful “Give us Baby Jesus peace in the world. Hey, carol, carol. "

Now it’s time for carol singing, being together and enjoying the Holy Holiday peace until the New Year 2019 comes to unfold a blank card ahead of each of us to fill in with more events and more news about them to read.
