Enrolment for the workshop on film event organization is on. This time it is dedicated entirely to Lodz Film School students! Among the topics: PR, festival strategies, film market.
Culture Animator Academy is a course in organization and animation of culture where the participants will learn about culture events organization ins and outs, especially to do with film. Culture Animator Academy is the only project of this kind organized in Lodz.
Participants will learn how to build organizational facilities for their ideas and strategies to carry them out successfully, they will receive practical tips on how to establish cooperation with local entities and how to find human resources in the form of volunteers. The course will also allow its participants to understand what the planning of the PR event campaign is and how to implement the project promotion.
An important element of the training will be classes in film distribution, thanks to which future culture animators will be able to find their way through the nuances of the film market. The aim of the project is to create a creative ferment among a group of future culture animators as well as the conditions for their creative ideas to be carried out which will enrich the cultural offer of the city with smaller film events.
Help in understanding the mechanisms of organizing film events and skill development in the field of cultural animation are the main goals that the organizers set themselves. To sum up the workshop, its participants will create their own projects of micro events.
CAA for Lodz Film School students comprises 7 topics to be covered in three days (4,5 hours per day) of the workshop duration, which will have both a theoretical and practical form.

1. Organizational support for the event
2. Pillars of the film festival
3. Festival ambassador
4. PR and journalism basics
5. Film festiwal strategies
6. Film market ins and outs
7. Workshop results presentation with discussion
