Our lecturer, on the left, wins the BEST EDITOR Award of the European Film Academy. Next to him, in the middle, another winner holding the statue - our graduate, Damian Nenow.

On 15 Dec., 2018, in Seville, our lecturer, JAROSŁAW KAMIŃSKI received the Best Editing European Film Award for the film “Cold War”.

CONGRATULATIONS!

"The cuts in COLD WAR are meaningful and emotional, almost like poetry. This poetic way of editing supports the sensuality of the story. The editor sensitively leads the heroes through time, the impossibility of being together" – this is the European Film Academy & EFA Productions jury statement justifying the award granting to Jarosław Kamiński.

The "Cold War" by Paweł Pawlikowski became the undisputed winner of the 31st European Film Awards receiving 5 statues: the Best Film Award, the Best Direction Award, the Best Screenplay Award, the Best Leading Actress Award for Joanna Kulig and the Best Editing.

Another winner that night was our graduate Damian Nenow who received the Best Animated Feature Film Award for the international coproduction „Jeszcze dzień życia” - “Another Day of Life”(direction: Damian Nenow & Raul de la Fuente) produced by Platige Films.

CONGRATULATIONS!
