The play "Spring Awakening" directed by Kuba Kowalski takes part in WYBRZEŻE SZTUKI Festival and will be staged at Sopot Scena Kameralna on September, 13th.
WYBRZEŻE SZTUKI organized by Gdansk Wybrzeże Theatre is an annual festival of the most interesting, most outstanding, and sometimes also controversial plays which are at present performed on the stages of Polish theatres. So far, during the previous eight festival editions the theatre goers could see excellent plays directed by Jerzy Jarocki, Grzegorz Jarzyna and Krystian Lupa, and also some original and famous plays directed by Krzysztof Warlikowski, Jan Klata, Kornél Mundruczó, Paweł Świątek, Krzysztof Garbaczewski, Radosław Rychcik, Iwan Wyrypajew, Maja Kleczewska and the duo Demirski & Strzępka. Many well-known Polish actors performed on the stages of the Wybrzeże Sztuki Festival, which makes us extremely happy to be invited to participate in such an event. The students of the Lodz Film School Acting Department will present their diploma play, "Spring Awakening" to the festival audience at the Scena Kameralna Sopot of Wybrzeze Theatre on 13 September at 7 p.m. For the play, the students have already won the Grand Prix of the Drama Schools’ Festival in Lodz this year.
