Not only the Most Beautiful Book, but also the Grand Press Photo for the book "f / 5.6"
Congratulations to Bogdan Dziworski and Bartek Talaga. During this year’s Warsaw Book Fair Bartek Talaga received the Most Beautiful Book of 2017 award for the book cover design of “f / 5,6” by Bogdan Dziworski, while professor Dziworski received a distinction in the Grand Press Photo Book 2018 competition.

The photos by Bogdan Dziworski belong in the canon of post-war Polish photography. Those black and white frames show the moments of life of ordinary people: young and old, those who are pretty and those who are not, during work and rest time. The scenery for them are polish cities and small towns, however sometimes the author also was taking photos of foreign cities. With detachment and sense of humour he brings back the memories of decades gone. His photographies – outwardly classic in their form and content - often surprise us with their innovation and reflex, not to mention the style of Dziworski – one of the most important documentary film makers of the second half of 20th century.
