Prof. Kristian Feigelson on 2nd of March will be guest at Film Art Organization Department. Meeting will start at 12.00 in lecture hall 208 (H Building).
Meeting with Kristian Feigelson in our School will be conducted by Małgorzata Kotlińska.
Prof. Kristian Feigelson conducts lectures on Université Sorbonne Nouvelle in Paris over sociology of cinema and media studies. Educated in sociology. His fields are also media and correlations between cinema and history, marketing, culture and cultural policy.
He did lectures at numerous foreign Universities i.e., in Germany, Austria, Brazil, Canada, United States, Korea, Italy or Russia. Was part of the Jury on many film festivals. He is also author and editor of numerous books on film studies i.e.: "Le cinéma dans le Cité" (2001), "Caméra politique: cinéma et stalinisme" (2005), "Villes cinématographiques: cinés-lieux" (2007), "Croyances et Sacré au cinéma" (2010,) "La fabrique filmique: métiers et professions" (2011), "Bollywood: l'industrie des images" (2012), "Chris Marker: pionnier et novateur" (2018).
