A fifth year cinematography student Mateusz Czuchnowski wins The Best Student Film Prize at the CINEMAIUBIT Festival for the film „Sen o Warszawie” (“Dreaming of Warsaw”), which was made under the artistic supervision of Ryszard Lenczewski and Wojciech Staroń. The film protagonists, father and son, having left a closed immigration centre decide to try their luck and look for a quiet place to live in Warsaw. They find a desolate square where they occupy a trailer, their temporary home. Film cast: Saman Amini, Konrad Eleryk, Joel Ibanez, Piotr Krukowski, Otar Saralidze, Oskar Stoczyński and Sebastian Jasnoch.

Another student of ours, Justyna Mytnik won a prize for her film "Apokalipsa" (artistic supervision: Łukasz Barczyk) in the experimental film category.
