This year the Festival which presents films from the best film schools in the world starts on 19 November. Two films from the Lodz Film School will be screened in Munich.
The films from the school to be presented in the international competition are:
"Proszę o ciszę" ("Their voices") by Eri Mizutami, and
"Heimat" by Emi Buchwald
Filip Bajon, the artistic supervisor of the film "Heimat" will be our school’s representative at the festival.
"Proszę o ciszę" is a documentary in which the director, Eri Mizutani invites the viewer to a mysterious world of the educational centre for the deaf in Wroclaw. Artistic supervision: Jacek Bławut & Andrzej Sapija. Zdjęcia do filmu Eri zrealizowała Alicia Devaux. Editing: Sabina Filipowicz, Tamahin Mehanni. Production management: Jan Cisiecki & Ewa Karolewska.
Emi Buchwald’s film "Heimat" is a story of a family who meets up at the police station wher adult children have to testify against a man who beat up their father. In the cast we will see among others Katarzyna Bargiełowska and Justyna Wasilewska. Artistic supervision: Filip Bajon & Jacek Bławut. Camera: Tomasz Gajewski. Editing: Anna Gontarczyk, Production management: Małgorzata Anna Jakubowska & Maria Leźnicka.
