The 8th Film Critics Festival "Camera – Action", the only film festival of the kind in Europe, is over. Our students get awards.
The awarded students are:
Emi Buchwald, who received a distinction for the film "Nauka" in the category Student Film Competition of the Festival Camera Action - "for reminding us of child sensitivity in a formally interesting way ". Photography: Tomasz Gajewski; Artistic supervision: Jacek Bławut i Andrzej Sapija.
Tomasz Bolek, who received Best Animated Film Prize in the category Animated Film Competition of the Festival Camera Action – for the film "Grancie" - "for creative inspiration derived from the film classics and suggestive picture of the alienation of an individual in the modern world”. Artistic supervision: Marek Skrobecki, Aleksandra Chrapowicka, Agata Gorządek.
Julia Orlik, who received a distinction for the film "Bankiet" in the category Animated Film Competition of the Festival Camera Action for "an artistic interpretation of the social conventions horrors”. Artistic Supervision: Marek Skrobecki, Aleksandra Chrapowicka, Agata Gorządek.
The festival jury verdict was announced during the festival closing ceremony on 22 October.
