The Lodz Film School has been invited to join an international project “T-Port” which will be introduced during the Cannes Film Festival.
T-Port is an internet platform serving as a catalogue of student films from all over the world. It was created as an initiative of Tel Aviv University, the biggest Israeli University and the organizer of the Tel Aviv International Student Film Festival.
The films on T-Port platform will be available for film professionals: producers, distributors, festival organizers, television network representatives. The platform not only will promote the films but it will also provide contact for young talented film-makers.
How is the T-Port going to operate? Each film school having opened its own file on the platform will be able to place 50 films a year there. The film entries will have their descriptions and the number of actual viewers will be counted and provided.
The project will be officially launched in June during the Tel Aviv International Student Film Festival, but it’s introduction will take place during the Cannes Film Festival.
