„Planet Brain”, a Kuba Mikurda’s selection of the most interesting science-fiction films with a philosophical aspect made after the year 2000 is screened at the school’s Film Club.
Every Monday, Kuba Mikurda, a philosopher and our school lecturer, introduces one of the films from the selection.
There are only four more films left.
This Monday (3, April) – Terry Gilliam’s black comedy The Zero Theorem starring Oscar winning actors Christoph Waltz, Matt Damon and Tilda Swinton.
Monday (24, April) – John Hillcoat’s The Road, an adaptation of Cormac McCarthy’s book presenting a post-apocalyptic America, with no civilization as we know it.
In May, on Monday (8, May) - Joon-ho Bong’s Snowpiercer, a science-fiction film for adults based on a French comic "Le Transperceneige"
Monday (22, May) – Benedek Fliegauf’s film Womb starring Eva Green
Each screening starts at 7 p.m. at the school's cinema.
