They arrived at the Feliks School of Ballet in Łódz with just a camera. The resulting master-shot was comprised of an 8-minute sequence, which provided an insight into the world of school ballet. Adriana, Izabella, Piotrek and Michał are four characters who dance amongst themselves. Sometimes in order to achieve our goals, we must abandon a part of ourselves.

Under the watchful gaze of prof. Ryszard Lenczewski and Wojciech Staron, Nils Croné (III year Cinematography student) and Giovanni Pierangeli (III year Directing student) worked on Devéloppé. The Feliks School of Ballet allowed them both complete access to the campus.

- It all started when we were working on set for a short film exercise. After arriving at the location, we were quickly fascinated by the world of ballet. As a result, we decided to treat the film exercise as a normal film production. Our decision allowed us to work with other departments at our film school on the project. – Statement by the creators.
